My approach
A different way to learn French.
Think back to your worst teacher. The one who made you feel like every mistake was a failure. Who corrected you in front of others. Who made you dread putting your hand up. Who never once told you what you did well.
A lot of language learners carry that with them for years. The self-doubt. The "I'm just not a language person." The fear of speaking in case it comes out wrong. I see it all the time. And it breaks my heart, because it was never about ability. It was about environment.
My lessons are the antidote to all of that. I've built a space where you are never judged, never rushed, and never made to feel small. Where mistakes are part of the process, expected, welcomed, and worked through together. Where I'll always, always find something to celebrate in your progress, no matter how small it feels to you.

Here are the answers.
Do I need any French at all to get started?
Not at all. Complete beginners are very welcome. We start from scratch, in English, at a pace that works for you. As your French grows, we gradually shift to using more French in the lessons, always with English as a safety net, so you never feel lost.
Do you teach children or group sessions?
Neither. I work exclusively with adults, one-to-one. Teaching children requires a completely different pedagogy, and it is simply not what I do. Every lesson is a private session, built entirely around you, your level, your goals, your pace.
What tools and equipment do I need?
Lessons are held on Google Meet or Zoom, whichever you prefer. You'll need a stable internet connection, a decent microphone, and a camera / basic webcam. A quiet environment where you can focus makes a real difference too. That's all.
How does booking and payment work?
Everything is handled through a dedicated booking tool, no back-and-forth with me needed. You can purchase your lesson package, book your sessions, and reschedule or cancel in line with the policy, entirely on your own, 24/7, from any device. Payments are processed securely, and your booking history is always accessible. Once you're set up, you're fully autonomous.
How does the free trial lesson work?
It is a relaxed 25-minute conversation, completely free and with no commitment. We get to know each other, talk about where you are and what you are looking for, and I answer any questions you have. No test, no pressure, just a chat.
What if my schedule is unpredictable?
A recurring weekly slot tends to work best for most students, it builds a rhythm and keeps momentum going. That said, I am flexible. If your schedule does not allow for a fixed time, we can work around your availability and find slots that suit you week by week. We will figure out what works best during the trial lesson.
Do I need to practise between lessons?
It is not a requirement, but the more you put in, the more you get out. If you want extra work between sessions, I can give you exercises or materials and give you feedback on them. I am also available by message if something comes up. That said, if life is busy and you simply can't, the lessons alone will still move you forward, we make every minute count.
What is your cancellation and rescheduling policy?
Simple and straightforward. You have until 24 hours before your lesson to cancel or reschedule, completely free of charge. Need to move it? We find another slot that works for you within the same month. Cancel inside that window or simply not show up? The session counts as completed and comes off your package.
Do you use a textbook?
Never. Every student gets a learning path built around who they are, what they want to achieve, what they enjoy talking about, where they are starting from. There is no standard programme, no pre-set lessons. Just French that makes sense for you.
